Rainy Days and Thursdays and a Royals Win

The Royals and Blue Jays played through the rain drops as long as they could.

A win is a win, whether it takes only five innings or 14 innings. Yesterday for the Royals was the former as they finished out the four-game set against the Blue Jays with a third consecutive win. I have no idea how you evaluate anything over the final couple of innings. I guess you don’t as the rain started coming down pretty heavy toward the fourth inning and made for a real adventure in the top of the fifth as the Royals worked to get three outs before the Blue Jays could get one more across the plate and get this game to be a complete one.
