Royals vs. Orioles Wild Card Series Preview

These O's ain't Royal...again.

If you followed my writing way back when, you’ll know that I used to write a preview before every single series the Royals played. They got kind of exhausting, if I’m being honest. I probably wrote too much (please at least pretend to be surprised), and part of it was the unbalanced schedule. There were only so many times that I could muster up interest in writing about Jose Quintana, who the Royals seemed to face 23 times a year. By the end of like July, I was so sick of them. But when the Royals make the playoffs, it’s time to bust them back out so here we are.

I’ll give you some info on their opponent - the Baltimore Orioles - in general, but then get into some specifics about the pitching matchups and more. And I’ll hopefully do this three more times after this one.
