I love the idea of trading Mondesi for Jake Meyers. Meyers was rated very highly for his defense in center, 95th percentile in sprint speed, was a two player at Nebraska so he’s got an arm. He also showed a pretty complete bat in triple a and he had a good showing in the league this year. I don’t mind the shoulder injury either. And Mondesi could be seen as a good high upside stopgap for pena at short

Maybe we could get a complimentary piece from them too idk. But they may have a need for a first baseman and seem to like having multiple first baseman on the bench. David: Athough I know the Royals team and farm system pretty well, I am not the baseball aficionado that you are. So as you talk about potential trades with other teams, it would be helpful if you could list the player's position. eg: Cedric Mullins with the Orioles.
