I was at Arrowhead for the Taylor Swift concert the night of Jorge Lopez's near-miss. Trying to follow on Twitter what was happening in the game, during Shake It Off, with terrible data speeds, was sensory overload.
If he's controlling the ball, absolutely. Weak contact and swings and misses make for a good combination. I also think saying the Royals are due is like saying Salvy is strong. Big time understatement!
Having been in attendance in Chicago for Bubic's near-miss this year, I will believe to my dying day that the "rain" delay cost him (and Royals fans) a historic moment. That Cubs lineup was terrible and they were completely baffled. He had nothing left when he came out after the delay, though.
I attended the Pichardo game and it was a gem, however the one I get angered over was Kris Bubic at Wrigley Field last year. The game was stopped in the 7th for “weather” that never came. After retaking the mound Chicago got a home run and would finish with that being the only hit surrendered.

I know that feeling all too well. Probably a blank space in your brain after.
My money is on Hernandez!! There were what.....8 of them last year or something crazy like that. The royals are due....No?

I'm going to petition Baseball Reference to change that box score to a no-hitter because I totally agree.
Mellinger is leaving the star for the Royals. I always like his stuff. Found that news interesting this week.
I'll have something about that tomorrow!
