You hit it on the head more bad moves by Matheny, it’s been all year. Eldred is worthless, Wilson doesn’t have a clue coaching 3rd, Carter doesn’t have pitchers ready to come into a game. They should all be canned the day after the season ends. Plenty of quality managerial candidates available that would benefit this young team and put some fire under them, with incentive.
You know I really thought Matheny was a great choice to manage these young guys, boy was I ever wrong. And Wilson, he has to be the worst 3rd base coach in history.
Just yesterday, the Dodgers scored 5 in the 8th to win 6-5, the Yankees scored 5 in the 9th to win 9-8, the Mets scored 4 in the 7th to win 7-5, and the Guardians scored 5 in the 11th to win 10-7. Must be fun to watch your team overcome a 3+ run deficit to win late, but I wouldn't know.
Have there been any whispers or rumors about who is going to replace Jason Simmontaci? Once the season is officially over who is going to replace Cal Eldred? Yes, I refuse to believe that he and the manager and pitching coach and third base coach and bullpen coach won't be fired.
CHANGE IS COMING. YOU WERE RIGHT ALL ALONG LESKY! I NEVER DOUBTED YOU. Appreciate Moore for what he accomplished, but it was past time. CHANGE IS COMING!
This is a really bittersweet day for me. There's the great run from 2013-2017. But nothing is forever and you have to win games. It was time.
I just need to say this at a healthier place than Twitter: I will always respect and remember Dayton's resolute nature and firm convictions. When he had something to say, he thought about it and meant what he said. Unfortunately, this is an industry and world where speaking with purpose can lead to your downfall.
I feel sad because Dayton showed me how to put people first and do what you believe is right at a time in my life when I needed to see that example. It's a little personal for me. So ... God bless you and your family, Dayton. I think he'll have a soft landing somewhere in the league office where his best qualities will shine.
Well said Kevin. I appreciate DM for what was accomplished and wish him the best of luck going forward. 16 years is a long time…and everything comes to an end. Excited for what is next again and it gives everyone a fresh start.
The joy over the move has nothing to do with Dayton and everything to do with the direction the organization is heading now because you're dead on with everything you've said.

I don't think there'll be any whispers until things are cleaned out entirely.

Hey I might know a thing or two!
Its clear it will be a total clean house now beside JJ. Which I’m cool with. Didn’t even have to wait for the offseason for answers. LOVE IT!!
