So its a bit early for this assessment and I’m trying not to be down. But this season is starting to have a feel of not being very good until the all-star break. Then after the all-star break they play .500 or so ball and everyone says look at that as they hype us up for next year. Lol

That's sort of the tradition. But I'll be happy if they can get the early struggles out of the way for the young hitters. And Lynch looks like he's made some very real strides, so that's great to see at least.

It’s way too early. But I’m somewhat curious as to when changes start being made. I know DM always waits till game 40 or whatever his magic number is. And maybe record doesn’t really mean much this year. But I’m getting somewhat concerned that maybe the Royals are farther out than next year on the contention curve. Which would be very frustrating as a royals fan. I don’t think anything happens yet, but do you have a feel when that may be? It’s closer to being here than it was a week ago.

Honestly it doesn’t really matter how long they wait as long as they can make some evaluations. But also, it doesn’t matter how many evaluations they make if they don’t use those evaluations to determine how they’re going to fill the holes.

The worst part about losing to the Yankees is all the happy Yankee fans. :(

All those happy Yankee fans who went back to their homes in Overland Park and stared at the Royals shirts they wore for a couple years when it was cool to be a Royals fan.
